| Something to say: | I stumbled upon indie after wandering around musically for many years. Metaphorically speaking, of course. I wasn't roaming the countryside as a bard... ANYWAY, Silversun Pickups, Modest Mouse, Arcade Fire and Bright Eyes are the faves. Concerning art, I've discovered that surrealism (Mark Ryden etc.) is right up my alley too. It's nice to finally find out what kind of stuff actually goes up my alley. Apart from a couple of dumpsters, there wasn't a lot up there until recently. You will have noticed that my introduction has taken a strange turn (the one from Main Street into My Alley) but that's just one aspect of the funny guy that I am. I can discuss serious things (films, literature and other parts of culture) as well, don't let this crazy introduction fool you. I'm doing my Master's in Translation English & Danish in September 2009, taking Swedish on the side, and I also studied Italian for 5 years, spending 5 months in Forlì, Italy. With Dutch and French, that'll make six languages, hehe. |
