|Something to say:||I'm Martin. A graduate in History, I live in the north of England.
I have a fair few interests, but in particular I am a news junkie. I have an insatiable appetite for knowing what is going on in the world - and in life in general.
I enjoy the process of writing. I used to write poetry and short stories: these days I am more likely to fire off a letter to a newspaper, or vent on Twitter. As fascinated as I am with the world, I am often disappointed with what I see.
I am more interested in European movies and television than American ones. I like all kinds of music, but I don't care for modern pop. Instead I like music with something to say for itself: whatever the genre or era.
I haven't travelled much, but I am rather more interested in other parts of the world than the country I was live in. I suppose that is why I like to do the penpal thing.
I don't ask anything of the people I write to, except that if they reply, they are willing to keep up a reasonably regular correspondence. Those who write a couple of emails and then disappear are disheartening.
Oh, and I sometimes have a rather ribald sense of humour :)
I am happy to correspond by email or snailmail (if anyone still uses that expression) or a combination of both.
Hoping to her from you.
My email address is; email@example.com
I find it easier to use email.
