| Something to say: | Hello, I'm an existentially-confused college student who lives too much in ideals and too little in reality. If I could introduce myself like that in real life, I'd probably attract and alienate the right people, but since I can't, I hope to find a conversational partner online to talk deeply and really connect to. I read a lot of books, watch a lot of TV shows/films/anime, play a lot of video games, and write a lot of stories in the hopes of drowning myself in fiction and beauty and forgetting myself. I'm an introvert, but live for crazy spontaneous moments with other people. I overanalyze everything, but wish I could turn my damn brain off sometimes. I study English and can talk your ear off about highfalutin literary concepts I love like Nietzsche's Apollonian and Dionysian dichotomy, but all I really want to do is live a gritty teenage life of roadtrips and broken hearts. I’m not a dreamer or a manic pixie dream person because I’m too self-conscious and critical of my own ideals, but I sure as hell need one.
