| Something to say: | Ahoj, hi, dear reader! Take this as my first letter to you in which you might discover what I (and my letters, too ^^) could be possibly like. I think I am frank (I always speak my mind) and sometimes a little bit moody. I am very curious person with too many interests. I like to think and discover and like people who are open-minded, think twice before making conclusions and have open heads to ideas and thoughts. I love the world and finding out how it works. That's why I love science and that's also one of the reasons why I picked to study natural sciences as my major at the university. I admit I don't like my school as it requires a lot of memorizing but I love the work I can do with this degree. My work is very important to me. The world is also its people, nations, cultures and languages. I love people, they are so diverse! And it is their cultures that make the differences even bigger. The thing I like most about languages is that one can communicate with others. I remember my first letter I received written in English. I was kind of surprised that I actually understood what the other one had written to me although the words and grammar were different. Here I got to my hobby no. 1 - snail-mailing. I don't like when people say they are passionate about something very often. I usually use "to like", "to love", or "to be interested" etc. instead. Passion for something means you REALLY cannot live happily without it, it's almost as being addicted to it. But in this case, I can say I am passionate about letters that came to me from far far far away! I admit it CAN take a while until you receive an answer from me, well, I cannot just write letters in my life, I study, work, read, etc. but I do my best to write back within 1-2 weeks. I don't post-cross (sorry!), the price of it is too high and my budget is limited. I love to send pretty stationery and stamps. It's not a rule nor a condition for my pen-friends, though. The content is what I value the most although I admit that I like when the letter looks nice. I don't pick friends for what they look like but for what they are. It's the same with letters. My letters are chatty. Writing them feels exactly the same as talking to a friend because my pen-pals are my real friends. If you guessed I liked pretty things, you were right. I like art, architecture, fashion. I like music, too but I don't listen to it very much. And I enjoy reading novels and watching movies very much. From sports I like (figure)skating, cross-country skiing, swimming and hiking. I love mountains and places from which I can see far before my eyes reach the horizon! Yes, I am fascinated with distances a lot. Congratulations if you got to read until here. First I wanted to keep my profile very short because I value my privacy but how can one find out what you are when you don't allow them? So, I hope this satisfied your first interest after you had clicked my profile but I also hope it hasn't satisfied you that much that you wouldn't write me :o)!
