| Something to say: | Hi, my name is Stella. I am 35 years old and live in Germany and - like everyone here, I guess - I'm interested in other countries and would enjoy having friends all over the world. :) Age doesn't matter to me. Please accept though that I'm looking for some female penpals only, as I got to many strange and untrustworthy request by men that don't seem to understand that I am happily engaged and not interested in any romantic advances. ;) Hope you understand. I speak german and english but would love to learn a little bit more frensh, spanish or japanese or a completely new language. But I really don't care where you're from as long as you are open minded and like to share you're experiences and thoughts with someone who might have a completely different view about things. Let's enjoy the differences and learn from one another! :D More things I like/am interested in: Tea, sending and receiving letters and postcards, the smell of the hot streets after a summer rain, bubbles, art, drawing and painting and crafting, listening to music, playing boardgames, movies and cinema and theater, making people happy, travelling and exploring and seeing new places, hiking, reading tons of books(though I don't have the time for it anymore), photography, spending time with family and fiance and friends, a cup of warm tea in my hands, candles in the dark, going into bookshops even though I don't want to buy anything, learning something new every day, plants (but they mostly die in my care), watching soccer, cats, owls, foxes, baking, Tribal Fusion Bellydance (can't take classes anymore), trying to live a more sustainable life, learning about zero waste lifestyle, including small adventures into my everyday life,... Things I don't like: Sleeping (because I need so much of it and it costs so much time), cleaning and doing the dishes, wasting things, coffee, cooking, creepy flying insects, being lazy, messing something up, being easily distracted, lies, having not enough time for things that are important for me, people misstreating animals, an empty mailbox, being cold, being stressed, missing deadlines, ... Countries I have been to: Germany (obv. ;) ), Austria, Belgium, France, Greece, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States (lived there for a year). Personally I do prefer snail mail (regular mail). I have a busy life and am just not able to respond to emails as soon as they get in. So I'd rather write a longer letter once a month than exchanging tons of short emails. However, starting out with a couple of emails/messages before exchangings addresses is fine. Sometimes it takes me a little time to reply, I hope that's ok with you.
